It seems that these power stations are below the State media radar. They never get a mention in the SMH when Iemma and others are discussing the need for power in NSW, privatisation, a new coal fired station etc.
There has been a huge furore in Sydney over the Callan Park/Rozelle lands. There are described as “huge” and in fact only cover 61 hectares when our Tallawarra lands cover 660 hectares.
It is really hard to believe that this over seas company, The China Light and Power Company can propose such a huge over development on the foreshores of our Lake with barely a public comment.
